Founding Software Engineer
Americas / Remote / Full-time
GetWebsiteBuilt is early, and the product is small on purpose. As a founding engineer, you will own meaningful surface area across our apps, from the dashboard where owners build their site to the renderer that serves it live.
This role is fully remote within Americas time zones, with some travel for our annual team retreat and the occasional meetup.

- Have shipped production web apps with TypeScript
- Are comfortable owning a feature end to end: data model, API, and UI
- Write code that reads like the code around it, and value simplicity over cleverness
- Care about the person on the other side of the screen, not just the architecture

- Have low ego, strong judgment, and high ownership
